In Uniform

I realize that I still haven’t shown you my uniform. Well, here it is…all covered up with my loooong "jacket". And I’m even wearing my beanie to make it look more casual, ha ha. I can’t help it, this beanie/beret is just one of my most favorite items. I even wore it to a gig once since it makes me feel less nervous when I have it on while singing. Anyway, I’ve had this beanie/beret since last Christmas but because the weather is only getting colder again (hallelujah!) these past few days, it’s just making its comeback.

The guy I’m with, by the way, is Chris, my office sibling. He’s one of the happiest people here in our office and look it, we’re both wearing our beanies!

OK, now you see our uniforms :P

Earth and Stone

I’m not a model (and far from being one) but I sure felt like it when Mia and another colleague of mine had a photo shoot last Saturday. The weather was fortunately cooperative, just the right amount of sunny and windy. With that and a huge dose of laughter and silly stories, everything went perfectly well.

Here are just some of the photos Mia took:

The theme was bohemian, by the way.

Remember Tin? She was the one I did the shoot with. She looks like a pro!

Spot the UFO! :D

Everything looks so green and earthy.

turtleneck - thrifted, maxi skirt - vintage, gold flats - Payless ShoeSource, beanie/beret - a gift: from Baguio

The shoot was a lot of fun! Yes it was an outfit-of-the-day shoot for me but perhaps taken a notch higher. I just wish I could always have my pictures taken at places like these, and always have Mia as my photographer. Do visit her blog to be inspired with her photography and stories.

Filipino All Stars

I'm a fan of America's Next Top Model. It's just good reality TV fun! So when I learned that Michael Cinco+Bench Body will be making an appearance on the show, I got even more excited. One of my favorite TV shows plus familiar faces/brands from the Philippines were always good!

Here are just some of the images from the episode:

Filipino pride all the way!

Catch ANTM: All Stars on ETC later at 9:00 pm and on Sunday at 7:00 pm.

A girl with a short skirt and a looooooooooong jacket

I wore this a week ago when I had to go to work during a holiday. And I just have to say that I was very eager to go to work even though it meant sacrificing a day where I could just spend it at home watching television or reading (aka lounging around). It was a chance to dress up so dress up I did.

Technically what I'm wearing here isn't really a short skirt, it's a dress. And I don't even know if my outerwear is really a jacket, a cape, or whatever. It might even be a dress, as my mom believed it was when she bought it. But whatever it is, I just love its bright pink color and how easily it "goes with the flow". :))

dress - from my childhood, looong jacket/cardigan - Okasyon,
boots - a gift: from Japan, necklace - a gift: Papemelroti

That's it! Thanks to my boss for taking the photos, hihi. Gotta get back to work. :D

Four Seasons

Tin, Judith, yours truly, and Liza

It looked like winter, spring, summer, and fall at the office on one particularly sunny day. It was actually a holiday but we had to squeeze in work. Little did I know that I wasn't the only one who was planning to dress up!

Tin was wearing an adorable knit coat made by her grandmother and a white dress with  pompom . Judith was also in a white dress and floral-printed wedges.

Liza's summery outfit makes me want to the beach!

And that's it! I'll just tell you about what I'm wearing in the following post. :)

Color of the Day: blue with a hint of green, and vice versa

One day, some of my office mates decided to dress up (unknowingly) in the same color palette. I just had to take their pictures.

First up is Mavic, who is wearing the most adorable candy-colored pumps.

Next up is Stoi. I believe you’ve met her before.

This is our newest addition to the department, Tin. Isn’t she lovely? I am loving her 60's/boho inspired blouse! And she says it's thrifted!

 Work it, girl!

And last, but certainly not the least, Liza!
Corporate...

...to casual

I'm glad to say that I am in the company of some very stylish colleagues! :)
