We're on our way home

This was what I wore on our way home from our outing at Stilts in Batangas. I was so eager to have my picture taken while the sun was setting.
The dress, by the way, was a last minute thrift. I was waiting for my friend to come out from the fitting room, and to kill time I went around the store one last time. I saw this dress and I had to leave a skirt that I was planning to buy.

Sea and Sky

Before the summer ended, a couple of people from my division, including me, went on a day trip to  Stilts Beach Resort in Calatagan, Batangas. The place is really charming, with multicolored plants and flowers eagerly saying hello at the entrance. And the day was just perfect with the sea frothy and the sky just staying a nice shade of blue. But what I’m so happy about is that I was able to make new summer memories (this was my only getaway during this summer) together with some of the coolest people I have ever known. :D
The photos, by the way, are only a few of the many photos taken by my very talented colleagues, Loreto Capucao and Neil Dalanon.
And before I end this post, here's a video of our trip made by Neil. Do check out his site to see more of his wonderful videos!

On the Road Again

I wore this outfit on the way to a resort in Batangas for our company outing (it was more like a division outing actually). Isn't it already obvious how much I love this jacket and shirt together?

I'll show you more pictures of the wonderful resort that is Stilts, plus a video of our trip made by my officemate. Which reminds me: I haven't posted the video on glitter shoes yet! Eep!

Pretend

Here I am, pretending that it's super cold but in reality, it is just as humid as any summer day.

The beanie/beret is a gift from my boyfriend. Every time he goes to Baguio he brings home one for me. He's the sweetest! At present I now have three of these hats.

Thanks to Mia and Laura for the pictures! :D

A Sea of Green

It definitely is something to capture nautical elements in a sea of green rather than amidst a real sea. Haha!

These photos are probably a month old, taken during the cooler days of summer. See, I even braved the summer sun by wearing a long sleeved shirt. The skirt makes the outfit more bearable because of its airiness.
The skirt, by the way, used to be my mom's. She was cleaning out her closet and lucky me saw it. I fell in love with it the moment I saw the gold buttons.

It's sometimes great to receive hand-me-downs, don't you think? :D

Everything's Coming Up Roses

Manila weather continues to be elusive. Recently, the days have been gloomy and the skies heavy with rain. I love the cloudy days, but dressing up also becomes confusing since it's supposed to be summer. But still, I am thankful for the colder weather because I don't have to worry about sweating. :D

Anyway, here's an outfit I wore during one of the sunnier days of Manila.

Four Seasons

Tin, Judith, yours truly, and Liza

It looked like winter, spring, summer, and fall at the office on one particularly sunny day. It was actually a holiday but we had to squeeze in work. Little did I know that I wasn't the only one who was planning to dress up!

Tin was wearing an adorable knit coat made by her grandmother and a white dress with  pompom . Judith was also in a white dress and floral-printed wedges.

Liza's summery outfit makes me want to the beach!

And that's it! I'll just tell you about what I'm wearing in the following post. :)
