Shame on me, shame on me for being such a stubborn blogger. There's no good reason I could give you as to why I wasn't able to write for the past week. If any, I should probably blame (my growing addiction to) The Sims FreePlay. Teehee!

Oh yes, I am almost as blind as a bat, and have been since the fourth grade. It’s just that I have taken to wearing contact lenses. I had to wear my glasses yesterday since I had to pick up a new prescript pair. Having to remove my contact lens just to try out my newly made eyeglasses would be too much of a hassle. Plus, with all the strain my eyes get at work, sometimes I am just too lazy to put them on.

Earth and Stone

I’m not a model (and far from being one) but I sure felt like it when Mia and another colleague of mine had a photo shoot last Saturday. The weather was fortunately cooperative, just the right amount of sunny and windy. With that and a huge dose of laughter and silly stories, everything went perfectly well.

The shoot was a lot of fun! Yes it was an outfit-of-the-day shoot for me but perhaps taken a notch higher. I just wish I could always have my pictures taken at places like these, and always have Mia as my photographer. Do visit her blog to be inspired with her photography and stories.

Ch-ch-ch-changes

So I also wasn’t wearing my uniform last Friday. I had to attend a birthday party after work and to be practical, I decided to just go the smart casual route and skip the uniform. (Actually I wore my after-office clothes going to work and just changed into a more office-appropriate cardigan and high heels.)

 Very basic and work-friendly. I'm even wearing my I.D.!
