Oldies Party

My mother asked me and my boyfriend to tag along at her association’s Christmas party last week. I think my boyfriend and I were actually the youngest people there but we still enjoyed the night since it was amusing to watch “adults” play games and be silly. Plus the food was great, and I even won a free tour and overnight stay in Corregidor in their raffle.

The people behind the event asked the attendees to wear something sparkly or shimmery but since I don’t really have something like that in my closet, I settled for the closest I can find. It doesn’t register much in the photos but this blouse actually has teeny tiny flecks of glitter. I’m not even sure if this is a blouse or a skirt, but it’s more interesting as a blouse. I also wore my overused gold flats since in some way they were also shimmery. Maipilit lang, ha ha.

The blazer I’m wearing here is actually a blazer that comes with my office uniform. I came straight from work and needed a cover up so the blazer sufficed. The blazer looks more casual when the sleeves are scrunched up like this (I think I’m the only one who scrunches up the office blazer’s sleeves like this).

Paparazzi shot kuno, ha ha

Thanks to my lovely boyfriend for taking my pictures. I had to take his picture, too.

Color of the Day: blue with a hint of green, and vice versa

One day, some of my office mates decided to dress up (unknowingly) in the same color palette. I just had to take their pictures.

First up is Mavic, who is wearing the most adorable candy-colored pumps.

Next up is Stoi. I believe you’ve met her before.

This is our newest addition to the department, Tin. Isn’t she lovely? I am loving her 60's/boho inspired blouse! And she says it's thrifted!

 Work it, girl!

And last, but certainly not the least, Liza!
Corporate...

...to casual

I'm glad to say that I am in the company of some very stylish colleagues! :)

Ch-ch-ch-changes

So I also wasn’t wearing my uniform last Friday. I had to attend a birthday party after work and to be practical, I decided to just go the smart casual route and skip the uniform. (Actually I wore my after-office clothes going to work and just changed into a more office-appropriate cardigan and high heels.)

Very basic and work-friendly. I'm even wearing my I.D.!

Black cardigan and leggings - given by my mom
Top - Artwork
High heels - Payless ShoeSource

 Post-office hours, I changed into a:

Denim jacket - Market Market
Boots - given by my mom, from Japan

 And a party hat!

One is never too old to wear a party hat :D

Casual Friday

There isn't really a memo regarding Fridays being casual but these colleagues of mine still don't have uniforms (lucky them). I figured it would be a shame to not have their outfit photos taken since what they're wearing are oh-so charming and chic.

This is Leanne. Doesn't her outfit look so chic and fun? I am loving the big polka-dotted bow on her shoulder.

This is the very pretty but very camera shy Kat. She always looks good in mala Mad Men office wear.

This silly girl is Stoi. I love the pop of color in this ensemble.

And this is Liz (who has a uniform but is not wearing hers, haha). The bohemian print on her blouse is just lovely.

And that's it! I am also not wearing my uniform, but I'll just tell you in another post. :P
