Something New for the New Year

Every new year's day, my family has this tradition of dressing up in a certain theme and having a photoshoot. For this year, our theme was florals and stripes.

My family. Yes, dogs included.

 

I didn't want to wear stripes because that would be too predictable (hello, nautical) so I settled with florals. But I wanted to wear something else. Something new.

 

 

Yes, this dress-slash-top isn't even new. But with a pair of scissors and some styling, it can be a whole new outfit.

Love the result! I'm thinking if I get bored with my old clothes, I could just cut away for a whole new wardrobe, haha.
